Patient Satisfaction Surveys

To make sure that we are indeed doing so, each of our patients is given the opportunity to provide feedback through a patient satisfaction survey. This allows us to constantly examine and enhance patient satisfaction in each of our departments at La Peer.

Part of providing exceptional patient care involves giving people accurate information. While that obviously holds true for when we diagnosing a patient, La Peer also wants people to know exactly how our patients feel about us an ambulatory surgery center by disclosing the information we ask our patients to rate us on when they fill out our patient satisfaction survey. This includes a range of quality standards and benchmarks.

After surveying more than 1,500 patients in 2015, we found:

  • “Please rate your overall experience at La Peer”
    – 97% said it exceeded/met their expectations!
  • “Were you happy with your anesthesia care / pain management plan?”
    – 98% said yes!
  • “Did you find your nurse to be friendly, knowledgeable and professional?”
    – 97% said yes!
  • “Upon your arrival, was the front desk staff friendly, helpful and professional?”
    – 98.5% said yes!
  • “After surgery, were you cared for in a compassionate and competent manner by our staff”
    – 98% said yes!

Additionally, we also perform continuous reports on ourselves including: clinical performance monitoring, medical outcomes, ongoing research, and receipt of major designations and awards.
