Siamak Tabib, M.D. is a gastroenterologist at La Peer Health Systems in Beverly Hills that is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterolgy and Hepatology. His philosophy is such that he believes all patients are unique and require expert individualized care. Dr. Tabib incorporates both health maintenance and disease prevention in his practice of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. These two specialty fields of medicine deal primarily with conditions of the digestive tract, which is made up of the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. His goal is to maintain health primarily through disease prevention, and when necessary, to intervene with appropriate state of the art methods. He incorporates diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as upper and lower endoscopy (EGD and colonoscopy) in this pathway to wellness.

An alumnus of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine, Dr. Tabib also received his undergraduate degree in Biology at UCLA. His post-doctorate training included an Internal Medicine Internship, an Internal Medicine Residency, and a Gastroenterology & Hepatology Fellowship – all at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center/UCLA.
