Payman Khorrami, M.D. is a board-certified gastroenterologist(GI doctor) at La Peer Health Systems. His practice offers comprehensive annual physical examinations; school, work, and executive physicals; EKG, lab tests, treadmill, echocardiogram, mammogram, ultrasounds and other tests; adult vaccinations; male and female cancer screening; nutritional counseling for weight loss or weight gain, evaluation and referral for bariatric (weight loss) surgery, immigration applicant medical examinations, gastrointestinal specialty consultations; endoscopy and colonoscopy; and geriatric healthcare.
For his education, Dr. Khorrami received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from ther University of California, Berkeley and his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of California, San Francisco. On a personal note, Dr. Khorrami was born in 1965 in Iran (he is now an American citizen). He is fuent in English, Farsi and Spanish. Dr. Khorrami is married to Dr. Roya Golshani, with whom he has two daughters (Leila and Hannah) and one son (Noah). His hobbies include travel, sports, photography, and scuba diving. He enjoys art and poetry, and is active in sports, especially swimming and running. He is involved in his community and has been a leader in many charity events to help raise funds for indigent healthcare.
